David Connelly and Ben Aronovitch have joined Offerpad as our new Chief Growth Officer and Chief Legal Officer. With David and Ben on board, we’re prepared for an exciting new year in 2021 full of growth and development.
Say ‘Hi’ to David, Our New Chief Growth Officer
David is in charge of growing specific areas of our business. As we continue to expand into more markets (we’re already in more than 800 cities and towns across the country; find out here if we’re in your area), David will be working on building and launching new home buying programs and other ways to help us grow and better serve all your real estate needs.
A 30-year Wall Street veteran with a broad background in banking and finance, David is well suited to his new tasks. He comes to us most recently from Citigroup where, as a Managing Director in their North American Solutions Department, he worked in all areas of specialty finance, as well as residential and commercial real estate. Before that, Connelly spent 25 years at Bear Stearns in Chicago as a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s institutional Fixed Income Department.
Welcome Ben, Our New Chief Legal Officer
As our new legal eagle, Ben leads Offerpad’s legal, compliance and risk management. (In other words, he’s in charge of all the “fine print” associated with our unique business model and developing our business strategies.) With his previous high-level experience as a corporate attorney, Ben will help us launch strategic initiatives in line with our plans for development.
Ben comes to Offerpad from Taylor Morrison Home Corporation, one of the largest home builders in the U.S., where he was the company’s Vice President & Deputy General Counsel. In his seven years there, Ben managed mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, corporate governance, public company reporting and much more. Before going in-house with Taylor Morrison, he helped with the homebuilder’s IPO as a corporate attorney for Paul, Wiess, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York.
