Offerpad makes 69,336 meals to help starving children

Nearly 130 Offerpad employees met at the Mesa, Ariz. warehouse to roll up their sleeves and packed more than 321 boxes of specially formulated complete meals for malnourished children. The efforts equate to 69,336 meals or 189 children fed for a year.

Offerpad is a company full of talented individuals that have experience in real estate, business ops, technology, construction, and finance. They are proud employees that come into work every day to help those in sometimes very stressful times of selling or buying a home. They know that patience and kindness are key to making the company work for their customers and it shows. Offerpad has a 94% customer satisfaction rating.

A 94% customer satisfaction rate is not easily given. To employees of Offerpad, it shows they are continuing to do the right thing by compassionately guiding those who have never used the service before, bought a home or selling a home. It shows they are providing a service above the status quo.

Offerpad is a team of hard-working professionals and self-motivators with strong work ethic. But also, a team of humans – real people that want to give back to those who they can. Led by their passionate and fearless leader Brian Bair, Offerpad’s HQ took a short break from real estate to volunteer at a local non-profit, Feed My Starving Children. “I’ve always found it important to support those in need, specifically our elders and children. So, when my team came to me asking that our office volunteer with a non-profit that feeds starving children, I was more than proud,” Bair expressed.

“We humbly hope that our time at the warehouse helped the organization get just a tad closer to their goal. We appreciate the opportunity given to us by our CEO in partnership with the non-profit. And we can’t deny, we had a lot of fun doing it,” said Dornan McGuire, Director, people operations with Offerpad.

The enthusiastic group split into several smaller groups, where they each worked together in every step of the process. From building packing boxes, placing labels with expiration dates, adding the exact right amount of rice, soy, veggies, and vitamins, and then fully sealing each bag to be shipped out. This specific day, the prepared meals were sent to the Philippines.

Feed My Starving Children’s Development Manager, Clint Palmer shares, “The Offerpad crew was amazing! All their hard work provided hope, and that means kids get to have dreams and aspire to become who they want to be. Thank you on behalf of 189 kids you fed for a year yesterday!”
