Our CFO Britt Chapman, among the very best
One of those ‘best of the best’ team members who are leading the charge is CFO Britt Chapman. We’re proud to announce that Britt has been recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as a finalist for CFO of The Year! The C-Suite Awards recognizes Phoenix’s top executives for their contribution and commitment to the community and their outstanding professional performance.
Apart from the well-deserved recognition, Britt works day in and day out to provide Offerpad with excellent financial framework and expertise that keeps the company soaring.
Britt’s role is both financial offense and defense for Offerpad. His focus helps us take advantage of opportunities to grow while remaining prepared for downside risks that would affect the company. He really walks a financial tightrope for Offerpad and loves the challenge. One of his favorite parts about his role is building a strong finance and accounting team that can rise to any occasion – he credits Offerpad’s finance successes to the team effort rendered each and every day.
Britt’s advice for young go-getters
As an active member of the community, Britt has enjoyed serving as a youth program volunteer. He participates as a local cub scout leader, little league baseball coach, and career mentor for college students. He’s enjoyed sharing advice with kids, youth, and students striving to develop successful lives. Britt insists that those looking to advance their professional and personal success must get out of their own way and seize the opportunity.
Don’t be too risk averse or rigid in your career. Risk and working outside of our comfort zone are critical parts of growing. If we have a strict career plan or if we are afraid of failure, then we could miss the best opportunities. Don’t let your fear of change reject the opportunity before you even know what the opportunity is or could be.”
To improve the home selling and buying experience
Top-down and bottom-up, Offerpad constantly strives to improve and streamline the real estate experience for customers in all locations. With work and inspiration from Britt Chapman, we’ll continue to do so, and we’ll only get better and better at it. Just three years in the making and Offerpad consistently earns a 94% satisfaction rate among customers. As our teams grow and culture deepens, we expect to reach our goal with even higher satisfaction ratings, and more and happier home buyers and sellers.
