- Arizona-based Offerpad debuted its official sponsor wrap on Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota Camry in the Instacart 500 NASCAR Cup Series Race at Phoenix Raceway on March 14.
- Offerpad is also a new primary sponsor of Joe Gibbs Racing team’s Harrison Burton, who drives JGR’s No. 20 Toyota Supra in the Xfinity race series.
- During the 2021 NASCAR season, Offerpad will serve as primary sponsor for two races with Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota Camry and four races with Burton’s No. 20 Toyota Supra.
Just a month into our official sponsorship of Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 car in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series, his newly Offerpad-wrapped Toyota Camry made its debut at Phoenix Raceway in the Instacart 500 on March 14 where Hamlin finished third.
The Big Reveal
Being part of something on the scale of sponsoring a marquee NASCAR driver is pretty heady stuff. Pretty huge, actually. That’s why with a faithful fan base among Offerpad’s customers, we were so thrilled the legendary Joe Gibbs Race Team (JGR), which Denny drives for, debuted the No. 11 Offerpad car right here in our own backyard. It was hard to keep things under wraps the first few weeks after joining the JGR team as a primary sponsor for three-time Daytona 500 winner Hamlin and last year’s Rookie of the Year in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series, Harrison Burton, but the result was well worth the wait.
With his second 3rd-place finish this season in Phoenix, Hamlin is off to a strong start, posting three other top-five and three top-10 finishes in earlier races before hitting the oval in Avondale. With Hamlin sitting atop the NASCAR Cup Series leaderboard in point standings, the Offerpad team also leads the series in stage wins and laps led and has not placed worse than 11th.
It’s always exciting to welcome a new partner into our sport and I’m thrilled to have Offerpad on board with us,” said Hamlin. “Unfortunately winning a race isn’t as easy as buying or selling a home using Offerpad, but hopefully we will have a chance to put them in Victory Lane right from the start.”
While it was Hamlin’s JGR teammate Martin Truex Jr. who took the checkered flag in Phoenix, it was still a thrilling race, with Denny running consistently in the top five or better for the majority of laps. As part of our agreement with JGR, the Offerpad car will be on the track again as the primary sponsor of Hamlin’s No. 11 team in the Charlotte Roval on October 10. In addition, the Offerpad wrap will appear on Burton’s No. 20 Toyota Supra at Talladega (April 24), Texas (June 12), Atlanta (July 10) and Daytona (August 27). Both drivers will also sport Offerpad’s logo on their cars and fire suits at every race throughout the 2021 season.
