Here We Grow Again! Offerpad Finds Sweet Spot in C-Suite with New COO, Exec Hires

Welcome Steve Johnson, Our New Chief Operating Officer 

Just last week we added two seasoned pros to our executive team. And today, we welcome our new Chief Operating Officer, Steve Johnson, to the C-suite. 

As COO, he oversees multiple departments to ensure we’re operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. He’s also in charge of ramping up Offerpad’s Product team to help bring even more offerings and concierge services to customers through our Real Estate Solutions Center.  

Before joining Offerpad, Steve was Managing Director and President of InvestorForce Inc. at MSCI, a global finance company. Under his leadership, his expertise in strategic, cross-functional teams and high-impact go-to-market strategies have consistently resulted in positive outcomes to help elevate all the organizations he’s worked with in the past 

Meet Our New Leaders 

We’re a family here at Offerpad and just as we strive to help our customers every day, we help each other, too. That’s why to support Steve’s success – and yours when it comes to buying and selling your homehe has four new Operations execs working closely with him. Supporting Steve are Ted Best, our new Senior Vice President of Product Management; Matthew Brohn, Vice President, Strategic Initiatives; Vice President, Customer Experience Scott Daggert; and new Director of Training & Operational Performance Abbie Mirata. 

Ted Best

On our Product team, Ted Best leads product management with an emphasis on growth and innovation. (In other words, he’s the guy in charge of putting all the great new ideas we come up with into action.) Prior to Offerpad he led the product and marketing teams at an international software company and a subsidiary of Choice Hotels, where he delivered award-winning software solutions for managing over 6,000 hotels worldwide.  

Matt Brohn

Everything we do here at Offerpad is all about YOU. And to make sure everything aligns with our mission to provide the best way for you to buy and sell a home is Matt Brohn’s job as VP, Strategic Initiatives. Previously, he headed up product management teams at Airbus and General Electric Aviation Digital. (He has a private pilot license, too.) Matt also brings to his new position a 20-year-plus background in real estate, including construction and management of both commercial and residential properties. 

Scott Daggert

Making sure customer satisfaction is #1 is everyone’s job here at Offerpad. With a career spanning two decades in customer-focused leadership roles from startups to global brands, Scott Daggert oversees our efforts to enhance customer engagement and ensure our homebuyers and sellers get the help they need. Before joining our team, he was VP, Customer Care at GoDaddy. Scott’s also an avid marathon runner, cyclist and weekend grease monkey, all great skills to tap into as he keeps Offerpad’s finely tuned customer service offerings running smoothly. 

Abbie Mirata

With a 20-year track record in homebuilding and real estate, Abbie Mirata joins the company as its new Director of Training & Operational Performance. Abbie was VP, People & Culture for ApostleTech, a local software firm, and before that, top homebuilder Taylor Morrison’s Corporate Director of Sales Operations and Training. She’s also a Joy Coach and a successful entrepreneur. Along with her husband, Abbie owns a popular local business serving up tasty Italian ices to keep customers fresco here in hot Arizona.
